Descriptive Writing
Descriptive writing illustrates people, places, events, situations, thoughts, and feelings.
Description presents sensory information that makes writing come alive.
A descriptive essay alludes to a category or a genre of writing whose mode is to describe a place, a person, an experience, a situation, or anything that writers can depict using their five senses.
Descriptive writing is used in different genres such as story, journal, travel writing, poetry, nature writing and essay writing.
The Structure of Descriptive Writing:
Body paragraphs comprises of a topic sentence, supporting details, and a concluding sentence.
