They are the naming words

Again, just like action words are called verbs, do you have any idea as to what naming words are called? 

They are called nouns

Let us quickly have a look at nouns

A noun can be defined as a word that names a person, an animal, a place, a quality, or an idea, such as Peter, cat, Chicago, softness, and, justice respectively. They form the largest class of words in almost every language, including English.

Dog, boy, girl, London, honor, Independence Day, birthday, etc. 

In sentences, nouns are typically used as subjects or as objects of the verbs.
