  • Read the set of words and mark the difference. 

Boy – Boys 

Pen – Pens 

Car – Cars 

  • We usually add ‘s’ to the naming words to denote more than one quantity. 
  • Here boy is singular, and boys is plural. 
  • Examples:  

Pencil – Pencils 

Star – Stars

Tiger – Tigers 

Cap – Caps 

  • “We usually add ‘s’ to the naming words to denote more than one quantity.”  
  • Examples: 

Bus – Buses 

Mango – Mangoes 

Tomato – Tomatoes

Dress – Dresses 

Brush – Brushes 

Watch – Watches 

Bench – Benches 

  • We use ‘s’ and ‘es’ in different words to denote more than one quantity.
