Punctuations: Full Stop, Capital Letter, and Exclamation Mark
Let’s learn about following three punctuations:
- Capital letters
- Full stop
- Exclamation mark
Capital Letters: –
- The blue coloured alphabets are in capital.
- All sentences start with capital letters.
Examples:
- I am playing with John.
- You are my best friend.
- Singing is my hobby.
- Some naming words also start with capital letters.
- “I” is always written in capital even if it comes in the middle of the sentences.

Full stop: –
- It is one of the punctuation marks.
- Full stop is used at the end of positive sentences.
- Let’s see some examples.
The bird is beautiful.
The horse is running.
Exclamation mark: – (!)
- It is one of the punctuation marks which indicates strong emotions like anger, fear, love, etc.
- Exclamation mark is also be used to indicate commands.
Stop! Wait! Ouch!
Examples:
- Ouch! That hurts!
- Don’t do that!
- Wait! I am calling you.
